This will probably the last release of 2007 and its a cracker (no pun intended) with the release of the CWCheat 0.2.0
Change log:
0.2.0 RELEASE
=====================- [ALL] now it\’s possible to change clock > 222/166 on 3.71+ firmwares. thanks to dark alex.
- [ALL] now 3.71+ builds requires 3.71m33-3 or never because of required patches available only from that version
- [ALL] changed drive checking method: now it should be almost immediate in the initialization (no more waiting) and even in a more safe way
- [ALL] The new drive checking method made possible removing various checks introduced before because they became useless reducing so the prx size
- [IRSHELL] Now (in irshell builds) the drive (or emulated one) is checked everytime you open the menu so when you start the game in irshell
(or other loaders which works in a similar way) the next time the menu is opened the game db is automatically loaded accordly.
- [ALL] fixed an optimization glitch which blocked the usb function from being disabled
- [ALL] some code about usb was removed from builds with usb disabled
- [ALL] fixed a little glitch which made the cpu frequence option go from 333 to 266 without going trough 300, optimized also a bit the code managing it
- [ALL] now when you add a new cheat in the cheat selection menu a number is put after the \”NEW CHEAT\” name, like if you searched for it
- [ALL] Fixed some texts to be more proper and have a better case
- [ALL] now never texts are translatable using the classic cwcheat.lng in the cwcheat folder.
- [ALL] Added norwegian translation thanks to blackrave
- [ALL] Updated italian translation.N.B. Older language files are now uncompatible, if you have done one before which isn\’t in the package please tell me so i can add your language
file to the database for quick generation in case of change of positions of things in the file. Users should grab the new for language file
from the package and replace the one they were using before.

Over at lan.st a topic indicating the development of the 3.80 M33 custom firmware. there are also indication of perhaps a new psp model or hardware.
While working on the future 3.80M33, we found a VERY interesting string in the IPL’s playload: “/kd/pspbtcnf_03g.bin”
For those who do not understand here is a bit of history:
since 2.71 and especially in 2.80, we could see a string refering to pspbtcnf_02g which suggested the support of a new hardware or at least of a new operative mode. Later with the slim release we found out that the slim’s codename was this infamous 02g (proably standing for second generation) and that it used the _02g modules as well as pspbtcnf_02g
.bin. It means that they worked on slim firmware/kernel for months before the actual hardware was announced/released.We believe it is the same with the 3rd generation hardware which they are now preparing for sure. Will it be yet another lighter (and pandora proof) psp or will it be the new psp phone ? Time will tell.
Its pretty much guaranteed that there will be a new custom firmware let just see if we get it for Christmas.

The latest PSP firmware has been dumped and decrypted but there will not be and custom version yet Dark_Alex has posted at MaxConsole:
They have only changed the keys of the tables of filenames. The prx’s keys are the same than in 3.7X.
However, there is a little surprise in a form of new compression algorithm called KL4E, this time sysmem and loadcore are also compressed.
Plus… again new nids.
As soon as those have been sorted I think that we can expect a custom firmware release.

New release by daaa57150 from qj.net
DJ Drops is a musical puzzle game where you have to clear levels by resisting until the end of the song.
How to play:
The blocks have different shapes and colors (6 each) and to make them explode, 4 of the same color and/or shape have to connect.
The game has a quite nice combo system to chain like hell
You can chain combos by different ways:
- the classical : blocks explode, those above fall and connect, combo!
- the explosion : the blocks take some time to explode and during this moment you can add other blocks to make more combos
- the cooldown : after an explosion, a small amount of time is given to make blocks explode somewhere else, if you do it before the time is elapsed, you make more combos.MENU:
up/down to change item
X to select
[ ] to cancel
start to quitGAME:
left/right to move the pair
down to make it go down faster
X and O to rotate (clockwise/counter clockwise)
L and R to teleport the pair to the left/the right
start to come back in the menu
select to take a screenshot
